2 Branch Libraries Plan Expanded Hours

City officials have announced new library schedules during the renovation of Orange’s Main Library at 101 N. Center St.
The city is spending up to $1.5 million to upgrade the 35-year-old facility, which will close Wednesday for the renovations.
As a result, two branch libraries will have expanded hours during the construction.
From Jan. 5 to Feb. 2, the Taft Branch Library, at 740 E. Taft Ave., and El Modena Branch Library, at 380 S. Hewes St., will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays; 1 to 6 p.m. Thursdays; every other Friday from 1 to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m.
