One of the county’s largest industrial buildings has been sold to two investors who plan to renovate the structure and lease it out.

The 515,000-square-foot Nabisco building--formerly owned by Nestle USA--was purchased by Harry Ross Industries, which owns 90%, along with Brown Jordan International. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The building occupies 50 acres at 1500 E. 3rd St. in Oxnard. Harry Ross Industries plans to demolish some interior walls and several exterior buildings to make room for additional parking, easy truck access and loading docks.

There are 315,000 square feet of space now available for lease.
