Support for ‘Feisty’ Boxer
* At one point in Kenneth L. Khachigian’s loony Dec. 21 attack on Sen. Barbara Boxer, he states: “Last year, the feisty little ‘fighter’ fought to increase the budget for the discredited National Endowment for the Arts and against streamlining death penalty appeals. She also opposed the embargo of Communist Cuba, voted against welfare reform and continued to support rights of wildlife over the historical water rights of farmers.”
Yes, yes, yes.
For these reasons and her unwavering support for reproductive rights, I voted for and continue to support Boxer. She is truly my representative in the Senate. We need more honest and sincere politicians like her to counteract the mean-spirited and hard-hearted Republicans she fights against.
