Former Mayor Prestesater Killed in Bulldozer Accident

Former Glendora Mayor Kenneth R. Prestesater was killed Monday when the bulldozer he was driving toppled over, police said
Prestesater, 65, owned a construction company. He died of his injuries at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital shortly after the accident trapped him under the bulldozer’s frame, Glendora Police Officer Greg Cunningham said.
The accident occurred about 12:30 p.m. as Prestesater was driving the bulldozer off a truck on the 400 block of North Verdugo Avenue.
Prestesater was a council member from 1980 to 1986 and mayor from 1986 to 1988.
