City Fair to Feature Games, Food, Contests

The city will sponsor its 18th annual fair Friday, a daylong event at City Hall Park featuring entertainment, food and games.
A pancake breakfast will kick off the day at 7 a.m., and the Gateway Community Church will host a service from 8 to 9 a.m. The fair will begin at 10 a.m. and continue to 4:30 p.m.
Features include free swimming at the Brea Plunge, pony rides, game booths, a petting zoo, an antique car show, bingo and live music. Prizes will be awarded for most beautiful baby, pie-eating and Hula-Hoop skills.
Vendors will be selling handmade crafts and food.
City Hall Park is at 440 S. Brea Blvd., a block south of Imperial Highway.
