Fullerton Woman Who Ran Red Light Is Killed
FULLERTON —
A 37-year-old woman died Tuesday when she drove through a red light on Magnolia Avenue and collided with a trash truck, police said.
Maria Garcia of Fullerton was traveling west on Valencia Avenue at 2:30 p.m. when, for an unknown reason, she drove through a red light and was broadsided by the truck, said Sgt. Mike Burges.
Garcia’s car was pushed 90 feet and she died on impact, said Burges.
