From Times Wire Reports

An Israeli woman was charged with illegally putting up posters depicting the prophet Muhammad as a pig and endangering life by stoning an Arab car. She faces a 24-year maximum sentence if convicted. The posters, pasted last week across 20 storefronts on the Palestinian-ruled side of Hebron, provoked a surge in anti-Israeli protests in the volatile West Bank city. Prosecutors asked the Jerusalem District Court to order that the Jewish woman, Tatiana Suskin, 25, of Jerusalem, remain in custody until the end of her trial.
