City Approves Loan for 4 Tennis Courts
Tennis players who want courts at Arroyo Vista Community Park may get their wish with the Moorpark City Council’s approval of a $176,000 loan for a Community Park Zone.
The money will be from the city’s General Fund.
Mary K. Lindley, Moorpark director of community services, said the four-court project will likely end up being funded by the city and the Moorpark Unified School District.
The courts would be near Moorpark High School, which overlooks the park on Tierra Rejada Road, and will be lighted.
Lindley said the courts could be in use by next July.
