Printronix Income Rises

Printronix Inc., a manufacturer of computer printers, reported net income of $3.6 million, or 44 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter ended June 27, a 44% increase over earnings of $2.5 million, or 30 cents a share, for the last year’s first three-month period. Quarterly sales fell 2% to $43.7 million from $44.6 million.
