Free Immunizations Offered for Children

The city’s Fire Department and AM Medical Center will offer free immunizations for children 12 months to 18 years old.

The free service will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Fire Station No. 2, 2141 W. Crescent Ave. Firefighters and firefighting apparatus will also be displayed at the event.

Immunizations will be provided for measles, tetanus, diphtheria, mumps and polio. Children should be healthy and free from colds or flu to receive immunizations.

A parent or guardian must accompany children and bring immunization records if possible.

Anaheim Fire Chief Jeff Bowman, chairman of the medical center’s governing board, helped organize the community event.
