The Times’ market story now quotes stocks in decimals instead of fractions, reflecting U.S. markets’ move to increasingly narrow price increments.

For now, The Times’ stock table quotes will remain in fractions. However, all U.S. markets expect to move to full decimal pricing before 2000.
