Teen Reportedly Admits 2nd Killing

A teenager who confessed to beheading a younger boy says he also beat a 10-year-old girl to death with a steel pipe, police said. The junior high school student, who has not been identified because he is a minor, also acknowledged attacking three other girls, officers in the western city of Kobe said. The student already was under arrest in the murder of 11-year-old Jun Hase, whose severed head was found in a schoolyard in May. Authorities charged him with a second count of murder in the death of Ayaka Yamashita, 10, said a police investigator in Kobe.
