Firm Sells 2 Jet Engines

Aviation Distributors Inc. said Wednesday that it has sold two jet engines for a total of $3.4 million.

The company said it sold a Pratt & Whitney 2037 engine for $2.5 million to a U.S. company. The engine was acquired from American TransAir in June.

Aviation Distributors said it sold a Lycoming ALF502 engine to a European air carrier for $930,000.
