The Irvine supplier of Windows-based software reported net income of $935,000, or 7 cents a share, for the second quarter, contrasted with a net loss of $1.2 million, or 9 cents a share, for the comparable period of 1996. Revenue climbed 40% to $20.9 million from $14.9 million. Net income for the first half rose to $1 million, or 7 cents a share, from $265,000, or 2 cents a share, for the first six months of 1996. Revenue increased 27% to $39.2 million from $30.8 million.
