Digital Insight of Camarillo, a provider of Internet-based home banking, has formed an agreement with C.U. Processing, which provides information technology to credit unions.

The nonexclusive agreement will allow Michigan-based C.U. Processing to offer Digital Insight’s AXIS home banking services to its customers, including real-time account access, stock quotes, custom application forms, the ability to interface to Quicken or Money 97, stock portfolio tracking and bill payment.

“We continue to demonstrate our strong relationships within the credit-union community,” said Paul Fiore, president and chief executive officer of Digital Insight. “C.U. Processing is a key player in the industry.”

C.U. Processing officials said the choice to ally with Digital Insight was a direct result of requests from their customers.

“It appeared Digital Insight offered high customer satisfaction, and after investigating their service we were convinced Digital Insight was an excellent addition to our business partners,” said Dave Palmer, C.U. Processing’s chief executive officer.

Digital Insight currently provides home banking services to 52 of the 119 financial institutions that offer real-time account access via the Internet, according to NetBanker. More than 30,000 customers now use the AXIS home banking system and more than 85 financial institutions have committed to provide it in the near future.
