1995 Bodega Nekeas Vega Sindoa, Navarra (About $7)

Share

A gorgeous ruby in color, packed with flavor and soft enough to drink now, Bodega Nekeas’ Vega Sindoa from Spain’s Navarra region is an alluring blend of Cabernet and Tempranillo, the deep-colored Spanish grape that is the backbone of Rioja. No one would ever guess that it’s only $7 or $8 a bottle. It’s a great summer wine for grilled chicken, sausages, peppers and eggplant--and especially lamb redolent of garlic and rosemary. At this price, buy it by the case and throw a party.
