Robinson Can’t Find Fault With Huskies

Washington running back Rashaan Shehee has five 100-yard games already this season and needs only 154 yards to reach 1,000.
The Huskies’ quarterback, Brock Huard, ranks second in the nation in passing efficiency behind UCLA’s Cade McNown.
And Jerome Pathon is sixth in the nation in receiving yards, averaging 115 a game.
That adds up to a well-balanced, multiple-threat offense against USC.
“We’re going to Seattle and I think playing a very efficient football team that does not make errors and does not beat themselves,” USC Coach John Robinson said.
“What I think they are, is good at a lot of positions. They’re a really good football team, playing in an efficient manner, not screwing the game up very much.
“I think that makes them pretty hard to beat.”

Quarterback John Fox, who lost his starting position to Mike Van Raaphorst this week, is expected to play despite missing Thursday’s practice because of flu. Fox is said to be feeling better, and Robinson has said he will use both quarterbacks. . . . Fullback Ted Iacenda, bothered by a shoulder injury, did not make the trip. Rodney Sermons was already scheduled to start. Walk-on Jahi Johnson is with the team in Iacenda’s place. . . . Washington is without defensive end Chris Campbell, who broke his leg two weeks ago and was leading the team with five sacks.
