* Global Chat: The 1997 State of the World Forum is coming to the Web this week: Online chat sessions and Webcasts of speeches and round-tables will feature Walter Cronkite, Raisa Gorbachev, primatologist Jane Goodall, film director Rob Reiner and others. The conference, being held Tuesday through Sunday in San Francisco, is a gathering of world leaders, Nobel Prize winners and other notables to discuss the challenges of integrating technology with humanity at the end of the century.
