The Glendale-based manufacturer of air pollution measurement instruments reported sales for the three months ended Sept. 30 of $1.2 million, down 59% from $2.9 million in 1996.

“As announced in August of this year, a decline in air pollution instrument awards has compounded an ongoing competitive price-pressure problem,” said Albert E. Gosselin Jr., president and CEO. “We have downsized over the past 12 months to adjust to ever-decreasing core business revenue levels, but the recent accelerated decrease in sales contributed to larger losses.”
