Herrick & Co. Realty Partners With Prudential

Herrick & Co. Realtors in Ventura has become affiliated with Prudential Real Estate by purchasing franchise rights to west Ventura County.

The company, which was an independent agency for five years, said it made the change to bolster its strength for the anticipated growth of the area’s real estate market.

“Our organization will continue to reflect Herrick & Co.’s core values of giving excellent service to our clients and support to our agents,” said President Susan Herrick.

Herrick said her company chose Prudential to tap into its technology services.

“Technology no longer is a novelty--it now must be embraced,” said Elliott Rose, senior vice president of the nationwide real estate network. He said Prudential recently made a $1-billion investment in new technology.

With the purchase of the franchise rights, Herrick and her husband, John, have exclusive rights to open an Oxnard office within the next 18 months. They also have plans to open a satellite office in Ojai.

The company, now Prudential/ Herrick & Co. Realtors, will maintain its headquarters at 3140 Telegraph Road in Ventura.
