ArtsWeek ’97 Tickets Available at UC Irvine
ArtsWeek ‘97, a celebration of music, art, drama and dance, will take place Tuesday through Nov. 15 at UC Irvine.
“Whether it’s listening to a night of jazz or watching students put the finishing touches on a musical, ArtsWeek will leave no doubt that this is a dynamic, comprehensive and very special arts school,” said Jill Beck of UCI’s School of the Arts.
ArtsWeek ‘97, in planning for more than a year, was the idea of Beck and the School of the Arts Dean’s Advisory Council, a group of Orange County residents who provide input and ideas on artistic programs, fund-raising and other initiatives.
In addition to spotlighting students, faculty and alumni, ArtsWeek also will help UCI raise funds for scholarships.
