Marine National Bank: The Irvine bank said that net income for the third quarter more than doubled to $377,973 from $170,926 for the 1996 third quarter. Net income for the nine-month period rose 29% to $839,342 from $649,866. Total assets increased 26% to $176.4 million from $139.9 million.
