A Santa Ana trade school for automobile dealership finance and insurance managers has signed an agreement with Michigan’s Northwood University under which the private business college will give graduates of the College of Automotive Management up to 28 units of credit toward a Northwood degree.

Northwood, which has campuses in Michigan, Florida and Texas, also operates a nationwide “alternative” university for working students who want to earn a college degree by attending classes at night or on weekends.

College of Automotive Management is a private trade school owned by Santa Ana-based Lloyd Anderson Group of Companies Inc. It provides training in automotive sales, financing, leasing and insurance operations, ranging from half-day refresher clinics to a six-week, 243-hour management course.
