President Appointed at Yamaha Marine Group

Phil Dyskow has been appointed president of Yamaha Marine Group in Cypress. He had been senior vice president since 1995. Dyskow will also oversee the Yamaha Boat Co. In addition, Jack Malone, general manager of Yamaha Marine Group, was named vice president.

* Paul F. Rodeno is a new executive vice president of Eldorado Bank in Tustin. Rodeno had been with San Dieguito National Bank for more than 10 years. San Dieguito, Liberty National Bank and Commerce Security Bank were recently consolidated into Eldorado.

* Claude J. Gardner has been named vice president of Prudential Commercial Services in Irvine. He had been the director of Prudential Commercial Services for the past two years. Before that, Gardner spent six years as Eastern commercial services manager for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates Inc.

* David C. Shrader has joined the Doubletree Hotel Anaheim/Orange County as convention services manager. He was previously banquet manager at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center in Chesterfield, Mo.

* W. Warren Dennis has been appointed project manager at Snyder Langston in Irvine. He will manage the construction of a 75,000-square-foot auto dealership in Las Vegas. Before joining Snyder Langston, Dennis worked with BCI/Birtcher Construction, Saffell & McAdams Builders, and Tobishima Development.

* John Fritch has joined the board of American Custom Components in Anaheim. He is director of material at Hughes Data Systems, a unit of Hughes Aircraft Co.

* Timothy W. Martin has been named vice president of Asian operations for Western Digital Corp.’s Personal Storage division. He succeeds Russell Stern, who assumed the position of vice president, mobile-product development, upon his return to the company’s Irvine headquarters. Martin has been with Western Digital since 1992 and became vice president of media operations in 1994.

* Susan Duggin has been appointed vice president, consumer markets credit and accounts payable for Ingram Micro Inc., a Santa Ana wholesale distributor of technology products and services. She had been senior director, accounts payable since 1994.

* Ed Gillow has joined Gladstone International, an Irvine public relations firm, as chief operating officer. Previously, he was director of engineering at Liebert Corp., a power electronics company in Irvine.

* Peter J. Richter has been named vice president of finance for Caliber Collision Centers, an Irvine preferred provider to the automobile insurance claims industry. Richter was controller for Chicago’s Vistar Inc., a Chicago auto glass replacement and repair company.

* Greg Sherman has been appointed executive vice president of Star Trac by Unisen Inc., a Tustin manufacturer of exercise equipment. He joined the company in 1995 as chief financial officer. Before that, Sherman was a senior executive at Arthur Andersen for 10 years and chief financial officer at Jardinier Planter Systems for two years.

* Garry DeBoer has been appointed president of Costa Mesa-based Ceradyne Inc.’s wholly owned division, Semicon Associates in Lexington, Ky. He was previously manufacturing support manager for CPI’s TWTP division in Palo Alto.

* Kevin A. Canning has been appointed executive vice president of Culbertson, Adams and Associates, an Aliso Viejo planning consulting firm. He joined the company in 1992 as a vice president.

* Frank Schools has been named vice president of finance for Pacific Sunwear of California Inc., an Anaheim-based retailer of apparel, accessories and footwear. He has been controller for more than three years.

* Mary Davis has been named director of property management for the San Francisco region of Insignia Commercial Group, West division in Irvine. She is a former vice president and district manager for the Voit Companies’ San Francisco region.
