Share

AML Communications in Camarillo has received Federal Communications Commission approval to sell its new M30 multicarrier amplifier in the U.S. and international cellular marketplace.

AML reported that the FCC issued the company a “type acceptance grant” for the product, which supports a range of digital and analog transmission protocols.

“Numerous worldwide standards and divergent system specifications require that amplifier manufacturers, like AML, have broad product capabilities in order to win and retain new customers,” said Jacob Inbar, AML president and chief executive officer. “The M30 . . . represents one of the new products we are offering to the communications marketplace worldwide in a determined effort to diversify our sales and expand our customer base.”

A multicarrier amplifier replaces the functions of several single-carrier power amplifiers and cavity filters, thereby reducing service providers’ maintenance costs and space requirements.
