Stop-Gap, a theater troupe that provides educational messages for youths, will perform at the Alternative Education Center on Thursday to encourage students to avoid drugs and alcohol.

Performing “Killer Pain,” actors will address the use of painkillers to numb the effects of uncaring relationships, family troubles and other woes. The performance also offers children alternatives, including support programs.

Based in Santa Ana, Stop-Gap uses educational drama in classrooms to educate children about drugs, birth control, sexually transmitted disease and other social issues.
