MAI Systems Corp.: The Irvine provider of information systems services posted a third-quarter net loss of $2.3 million, or 24 cents a share, which included a $900,000 restructuring charge. The company said it earned $401,000, or 4 cents a share, in the third quarter last year. Revenue was down slightly to $17.7 million from $17.8 million. The year-to-date net loss was $5.6 million, or 61 cents a share, contrasted with profit of $11.7 million, or $1.20 a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 11% to $52.9 million from $47.5 million.
