Holiday Homes Sought for Military Personnel
Local families can “adopt” men and women in the military for a day through the Home Hospitality Program, sponsored by the Camp Pendleton Armed Services YMCA.
Those wishing to participate will be asked a few questions regarding home state, smoking preferences, age of children and type of pets.
Host families will pick up their guests on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day in Oceanside.
Those who are unable to host military personnel may support the program by contributing holiday food items, money or time.
