Ridley-Thomas

* Thank you, Councilman Mark Ridley-Thomas, and thank you, L.A. Times, for reporting a rare news tidbit on a politician taking a moral stand (“Adult Business Lacks Permits, Will Not Open,” Nov. 14). If the Crenshaw-area councilman had rolled over and given the adult business the waiver it sought, it would have been business as usual. I hope Ridley-Thomas’ district realizes what a favor he has done for it. I hope that other councilmen have the courage to follow his lead.
