Police Seek Suspect in Robbery at Store
Police are searching for a man believed responsible for the armed robbery Tuesday of a kitchen supply store.
According to police, a man holding a light blue plastic bag entered Toby’s Kitchen Supply at 2713 E. Main St. shortly after 5 p.m.
The man walked up to the clerk, opened the bag, pulled out a semiautomatic pistol and demanded that she give him money from the cash register, police said.
The man then ran away with an unknown amount of money. No injuries were reported.
Police described the robber as a Latino in his 40s with a mustache, 6 feet tall and 160 to 170 pounds, with a pockmarked face. He was wearing a light blue, button-down dress shirt and khaki pants.
