From Times Wire Reports

Archeologists have unearthed new clues about a warrior tribe that lived in England 1,500 years ago. On a U.S. air base in Lakenheath, dozens of pagan Saxon graves with more than 170 bodies of men, women and babies have been discovered, along with the first horse to be found buried with its master in Britain. The dig began in July with permission from the U.S. Air Force, which wants to build a dormitory at the site. But the Ministry of Defense, which owns the land and funded the dig, delayed construction when the find was made.
