From Times Staff and Wire Reports

A married couple, their son and another man were arrested for allegedly dealing drugs out of a Columbus day-care center for several years. Sheriff’s Detective Roger Brandner said most deals were made in a bedroom. “We basically concentrated on this case because of the concern we had for the kids at the day care,” Brandner said. He said the couple lived at the house where they’ve offered day care since about 1992, and authorities believe that they have sold marijuana the entire time. Less than $1,000 and less than a pound of marijuana--packaged in small amounts--were confiscated.
