Hearing Is Thursday on 2 City Programs
Citizens are invited to a public hearing Thursday on proposed changes to two of the city’s federal programs for low- to moderate-income residents.
The discussion will focus on how the Community Development Block Grant and HOME programs should be used for housing, public facilities, code enforcement, infrastructure improvements and public service projects.
The hearing will also serve as a forum for residents to voice their concerns over fair-housing issues.
Comments will be incorporated into a city action plan that will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
