Community College District Will Take Bids on Land Parcel
The North Orange County Community College District will hold a public hearing next month to consider bids on a 173-acre parcel it hopes to sell for at least $14 million.
The vacant parcel is next to the Yorba Linda Education Center, where the district’s adult education programs are headquartered. It borders Fairmont and Yorba Linda boulevards.
District trustees recently passed a resolution declaring their intent to sell the land for no less than $14 million. They also set the public hearing for 5:30 p.m. Nov. 11.
Potential buyers are encouraged to attend the hearing and present written or oral bids. Trustees then will publicly choose a buyer, district officials said. The hearing will be held at the district’s education center, 1000 N. Lemon St. in Fullerton.
