I’m not surprised by your editorial. I knew you would write one, and almost exactly what you would say. I understand that you never met a gun you liked, and that you will find something about each one so that you can eventually ban them all.

Before the gun control act of 1968 one of the most common guns used in crimes was the West German-made RG10, which fired (sometimes) with very low power roughly in the direction it was pointed. Now the most common guns are much more reliable, accurate and powerful. I don’t understand why you want to escalate the arms race by getting rid of the poorest guns.
