Hermandad Vote
While reading the outcome of the House vote to prosecute Hermandad Mexicana Nacional (“House Backs Hermandad Prosecution,” Oct. 1) for their alleged registration of illegal voters in the election, I pondered how any individual or other organization could ignore federal subpoenas.
Having had business dealings in Mexico, I can assure you that if the Mexican government officially ordered me to provide certain records, information or documentation or to appear to explain anything to their officials, any sane individual would do so pronto or immediately suffer dire consequences.
