Add On Health Systems Acquired by Ohio Firm

IRVINE — Add On Health Systems Inc., a private long-term care software company, has been acquired by Cincinnati-based Omnicare Inc. Terms were not disclosed.
Add On has software installations in more than 825 facilities in 44 states.
The company specializes in developing clinical and financial software systems for skilled nursing, subacute and assisted living facilities. Its software product line includes resident assessment care planning packages, financial accounting, staff scheduling, bar coding, and marketing and admission systems.
Omnicare provides professional pharmacy and related consulting services for long-term care facilities such as nursing homes, retirement centers and other institutional health care facilities.
