Libraries Mystified at Vandalized Books
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Library officials at universities across the state say vandals have cut photographs of young males out of hundreds of books. More than 200 vandalized books have been found at Bowling Green State University alone. When workers borrowed copies from other libraries, they found many of the missing pictures depicted boys. Similar acts of vandalism have been reported at Ohio State University, Ohio University, Kent State University, Youngstown State University and the University of Akron.
