Litton Industries Inc., the Woodland Hills-based defense contractor, has named three new vice presidents.

Paul D. Miller and Leonard M. Pomata were named corporate vice presidents and Nancy L. Gaymon was elected vice president of human services, the company said.

Miller is president of Litton’s Marine Systems and Sperry Marine, and Pomata is president of Litton’s PRC division. Both divisions are based in Virginia.

Gaymon assumed the duties of Mathias J. Diederich, who retired.

* Fiona Watts has been named Warner Bros.’ vice president of international publicity, and Juliana Olinka has been named vice president of international promotions.

Watts, who joined Warner Bros. in 1988, most recently had worked in London for the company’s European publicity department, and will now work out of Burbank in charge of publicity campaigns for all the company’s films distributed overseas.

Olinka has been with Warner Bros. since 1978 and has held a variety of advertising, media and publicity posts.

* Paavo Salmi has been named to the newly created position of director of marketing for Pleasant Holidays in Westlake Village.

He will be responsible for product research, development and marketing, as well as the company’s Internet operations.

Since joining Pleasant Holidays in 1993, Salmi has been involved with corporate financial analysis, managed the travel company’s vacation financing program and headed Internet services.

* Kate Fosselman has been hired as senior art director at Wiley & Associates advertising agency in Westlake Village. The company also hired Pericles Rellas as production artist.

Wiley & Associates specializes in women’s niche marketing for clients such as L. A. Gear, ABBA Hair Care and Big Sisters of Los Angeles.

* Mary Ellen Ledbetter, a member of the Ventura-Oxnard chapter of the National Assn. of Women in Construction, was installed as the organization’s national president in New Orleans. Ledbetter is co-owner of DME Trucking, a company that specializes in hauling heavy construction equipment.
