AML Communications Receives Large Order

AML Communications in Camarillo has received a $2.6-million purchase order for cellular multicarrier power amplifiers from an original equipment manufacturer serving the Brazilian wireless communications market.

Jacob Inbar, chairman and chief executive officer, said this is the largest such order placed with AML. Shipments are expected to begin this month and conclude by March 31.

This is the third order AML has received for multicarrier amplifiers from the Brazilian wireless communications market. Shipments from the previous orders were completed last month.

AML designs and manufactures equipment for the cellular, PCS, paging and satellite communication markets.
