Free Flu Shots Offered to Seniors
A free flu vaccine clinic for people 60 and older will be offered Sunday in the Fellowship Hall of Placentia Presbyterian Church, 849 N. Bradford Ave.
The clinic, offered through Placentia Human Services, will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Seniors should check with their doctors or the county Health Care Agency before taking flu vaccines if they have a serious allergy to eggs, have had a serious allergic reaction after getting a flu shot, have been paralyzed by Guillain-Barre Syndrome or currently have a moderate to severe illness.
