3 Positions Filled by School District
The Tustin Unified School District has appointed three assistant principals, officials recently announced.
* Diane Aust, interim assistant principal at Hewes Middle School, has been named permanent assistant principal there. Aust has been teaching in Tustin since 1965. She was named district Teacher of the Year in 1992.
* Michelle Bilodeau, the dean at Foothill High School, will become assistant principal there. Bilodeau joined the district in 1990, teaching English as a Second Language, U.S. history and physical education classes.
* Kirk Anderson has been named assistant principal at Tustin High School. Anderson has worked in public education for eight years, and in 1992 won the Outstanding Leadership Award from National University. His most recent job was assistant principal at the Summit Day Center for the Orange County Department of Education.
