Coroner Determines Drowning Was a Suicide
DANA POINT —
A 42-year-old Oceanside man whose body was recovered on the shoreline here was found to have committed suicide, the Orange County Coroner’s office said Tuesday.
Coroner’s Deputy Cullen Ellingburgh said an autopsy determined the man died as a result of saltwater drowning. The body was found Sunday morning.
