Abortion Veto
President Clinton has for the second time vetoed a ban on the most horrendous late-term type of abortion that is legal--the partial-birth abortion (Oct. 11). His veto has again demonstrated how far our country has gone down the road to a culture of death.
All congressmen and senators must override the president’s veto. Human life is the priority and should be protected at all stages. The president stresses the health exception, but in Doe vs. Bolton, in 1973, it was this exception that opened the door to abortion on demand during all nine months.
