The moon eclipses the star Alderbaran after midnight Saturday. The star disappears behind the gibbous moon’s bright edge at 12:44 a.m. and reappears from behind the moon’s dak limb at 2 a.m. Use binoculars or a telescope to see a star so near the moon.
