Barbara Henry

It was with great sadness and many tears that I read of the death of Barbara Henry (Oct. 9). She was a hero of mine. It would have been easier for her and her husband to close their windows and doors during the 1992 riots and try to ignore what was happening outside their home, but they did just the opposite. Barbara got involved and saved people’s lives when death and destruction surrounded her. She made the world a more loving and caring place and for that I am grateful. She will be missed by so many.
