Nursing Home Evictions

Re “Carelessness of the Worst Kind,” Oct. 5. [Alfred] Siegel’s ignorance of the law that provided him with an alternative to evicting old people in the middle of the night is no defense.

You can be sure this is not the first time innocent people have been hurt by selfishness on the part of a bankruptcy trustee. I suggest that as in the IRS investigation of wrongdoing, there should be an investigation of court-appointed bankruptcy trustees and their methods. The treatment of these old people in the name of money was very cruel. Really, Mr. Siegel. Shame on you.
