Young Leader Attends National Forum
Amy Caldwell, 17, attended the National Young Leaders Conference last week in Washington, along with 350 outstanding scholars from throughout the nation.
The forum was built around the theme “The Leaders of Tomorrow Meeting the Leaders of Today.” The Congressional Youth Leadership Council, a nonprofit education group, sponsors the visit.
Caldwell was recognized as a leader among students at Fountain Valley High School, where she is a senior involved with the choir and the California Scholastic Federation. Last year, the Boy Scouts of America presented her the Young American Award.
