Approval Expected on Sale of Kennedy High Parcel
Despite earlier opposition, the Anaheim Union High School District Board of Trustees is expected Thursday to approve an agreement selling a portion of the Kennedy High School campus for a housing development.
On Oct. 9, the district selected the Olson Co. of Seal Beach to develop 4.7 acres at the south end of campus. The proceeds will be used for repairs, including the reconfiguration of athletic fields, rebuilding of the pool and the building of an auditorium.
The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Anaheim Educational Center, 501 Crescent Way.
Information: (714) 999-3511.
