Officials to Discuss Utility Deregulation
Effects of deregulation on the electric utility industry will be discussed Nov. 13 at a meeting sponsored by the city and the Chamber of Commerce.
Officials said deregulation will provide new business opportunities. The purpose of the meeting is to pass along information to local businesses about the Public Utility Commission’s recent decisions to deregulate effective Jan. 1.
The meeting will be at 1 p.m. in the La Habra Community Services Center, 101 W. La Habra Blvd. Information: (562) 905-9708.
